Job Description:

Reporting to the Vice President, Legal of the Group, you will spearhead promotion of an ethical business culture, with the development of the corporate governance and compliance function for the entire group, with offices located worldwide. You will devise policies and guidelines for ethics and compliance program, including international governance. You will create awareness and educate all stakeholders, employees and other agents on ethical practices and misconducts and enforce actions to prevent potential misconducts and report any incidences to the Vice President and the President and Board. You will place emphasis on bribery & corrupt practices, labor and human rights violations, anti-competition practices, economic sanctions programs & export controls, insider trading & other securities law violations, conflicts of interest, data protection, retention and privacy and environmental compliance. You will develop and harness dialogues with group's key stakeholders, including the owners, employees, customers and communities in which the group is active and keep abreast of latest and emerging trends and industry developments from the corporate governance, international compliance & regulatory perspective, to address and minimize risks and issues and safeguard the organization's image as a responsible multinational. You will champion the development of dynamic and capable leaders and legal experts to support the business operations.
You would have about 20 years of experience with combination of stints in legal practice and multinational corporations, with a well recognized law qualification. You would have championed and enhanced corporate governance and compliance in an international business and have excellent understanding of industry practices. You would possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and would have exercised your expertise in tough and demanding environments. You would have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to discuss business challenges with the board members and win consensus where required.
